Rebecca House is a children’s home for boys and girls aged 8–18 with mild, moderate or severe learning disabilities and associated complex needs, including autism, communication difficulties, sensory needs, emotional and behavioural difficulties and health needs such as epilepsy. We provide placements for up to four children, with staffing levels matched to individual needs to safeguard and promote each child’s welfare
The Facilities
Rebecca House is a four-bed home located in a quiet residential area of Norbury, within the London Borough of Croydon. Children have their own bedrooms, alongside shared lounges, dining spaces, outdoor areas, learning spaces and quiet areas.
The local area offers parks, schools, healthcare, community services and leisure facilities. Children are supported to access education, activities and community life, developing independence, social skills and a sense of belonging.

At Rebecca House, we are dedicated to offering a safe and supportive environment children with learning disabilities and complex needs. We accept both planned and emergency placements, ensuring that we can effectively meet the unique requirements of each child. Our process involves a comprehensive impact and risk assessment that guarantees every referral is meticulously matched our capabilities. For planned placements, we conduct visits and introductions creating a clear and detailed placement plan to ensure smooth transition for the child. In cases of emergency admissions, we carefully consider the current needs of all children already in our home. We follow a structured process that prioritises safety while gathering essential information to develop an initial plan. Once the child is settled, we create thorough assessment and care plan tailored to their needs.
